Hi Phil,
Universality verses accessibility has been a hot topic, Phil. Both Gez
[1] and Roger [2] wrote about it last year.
My take is that both are needed.
Like Tim Berners-Lee said in his all too famous quote, "The power of
the Web is in its universality. Access by everyone regardless of
disability is an essential aspect."
