[html4all] Wiki or e-mail (<meta> : List rules)

aloha, philip!

the reason i suggested use of the discussion page is that it can be 
used to mock up a new version of the page without disturbing the 
contents of the page...  while i understand your feelings about 
email as a collaborative tool, i also think it important that before
any "major" changes are made, that they be tested out and open to new
ideas on a main article's discussion page -- it helps to review wiki 
pages in context, and for sanity's sake, the way to do so is via the 
discussion pages...  by all means, continue discussion on the list, 
but as far as debating the finer points of a page's composition or 
layout, properly belong either on the wiki's discussion pages or 
(sorry rob, i can hear you cringing from here) on a wiki at html4all.org
list...

besides, i don't know about you, but i'm already drowning in email,
so it helps to keep things straight to discuss wiki issues on the 
wiki, and discuss HTML issues on the list at html4all.org
